The USS Arcadia finds itself pulled from Starbase 2 and placed on a special assignment by the the Federation Department of Commerce under the authority of the Federation's Secretary of Commerce. Accompanying them on their mission is a Federation reporter that has been covering the story of cargo vessels going missing in a nearby region. While investigating the mysterious disappearance of a Federation convoy, the USS Arcadia discovers a strange anomaly that has undoubtedly been the culprit. When searching for answers, the Arcadia makes an unsettling break through: a distress signal is transmitting within the anomaly. Boldly venturing deeper inside, the Arcadia may find itself trapped and added to the list of missing starships. -

While studying an abnormal spatial anomaly with temporal distortions, the USS Arcadia attracts the unwanted attention of a Gorn scout ship. A small skirmish around the anomaly ensues and triggers the anomaly to ‘awaken’ sending the USS Arcadia and Gorn scout vessel spiraling through time. The Gorn vessel crashes on Earth… 1957 Earth near a small midwestern town gripped by Cold War anxiety and UFO fever. USS Arcadia dispatches a landing party to search for the missing Gorn on Earth and must destroy the Gorn wreckage prevent the Gorn from disrupting the timeline while navigating a town teetering on the edge of mass hysteria about “Lizard People from Space.” -

Shore Leave - Starbase 1
Posts: 48
In late 2260, the USS Arcadia rests in spacedock at Starbase 1, her hull framed by Earth’s blue curve and the steady traffic of the Sol system. Engineers are swarming through her decks, installing long-planned system upgrades: refined sensor pallets, reinforced defensive matrices, and command-and-control enhancements informed by recent frontier encounters. The work is thorough and unhurried, projected to take several days.
With the ship secured, the crew is granted well earned shore leave. Some return planetside to Earth, rediscovering family, culture, and quiet skies untouched by red alerts. Others have scattered to nearby systems such as Vulcan, Alpha Centauri, and orbital resorts that offer rest, reflection, or distraction. For many, it is a chance to remember what they serve, and why.
As the calendar turns toward 2261, the Arcadia will be preparing to depart once more. Her mission remains clear: to strengthen bonds within the Federation and with its allies, to extend aid and relief to worlds still bearing the scars of crisis, and to stand ready against emerging threats. Upgraded, renewed, and resolute, the Arcadia will sail into the new year as both diplomat and defender carrying Starfleet’s ideals wherever the stars demand them.

The USS Arcadia is dispatched from Starbase 1 after Starfleet receives a fragmented distress call from an Antares-type Federation transport, the Bright Horizon. The transport vessel is carrying civilian families and thirty-seven children relocating to a Federation colony. A systems failure has left the transport disabled and adrift in the center of a previously uncharted minefield composed of blackout and blade mines.
Joining the USS Arcadia, is a Klingon D7 Battlecruiser. Together, the two ships conduct a precise rescue, stabilize the transport, and deploy a subspace warning buoy marking the minefield for future disposal. They must uncover the mysteries of the minefield and ensure that The mission ends not with weapons fire, but with fragile cooperation, providing proof that even the remnants of war can be dismantled, one careful choice at a time. -

Echoes in the Triangle
Posts: 8
Lieutenant Commander Elyse White, USS Arcadia's Chief Communications Officer, detects a peculiar repeating signal emanating from within the Delta Triangle, the infamous region notorious for navigational distortions and a plethora of starship disappearances.
Upon further study and scrutiny, the signal is determined not to be Federation in origin, nor Klingon, nor Romulan. What they can determine with the assistance of Lieutenant Sornax is that the signal carries structured harmonics embedded within chaotic static. It is almost musical, almost intentional, and arguably more unsettling is that it appears tuned to White’s frequency board, as though responding to her calibration adjustments in real time.
Captain Abernathy authorizes a cautious investigation and directs helm to proceed into the Delta Triangle. As the USS Arcadia continues to venture deeper and deeper into the triangle, tacking toward the source of the mysterious signal, Ship's Counselor, Lieutenant Lanna Alexander, is deeply affected, sensing more than what impaired starship sensors and probes can relay.
